My name is Daniel Pesch. I too suffered from dog hair allergies for years. It all started when we brought a cute little labrador puppy into our house for the sake of our daughter. The two were immediately a heart and soul. And my wife and I couldn’t resist the charm of the little one either.

And so began my long fight against dog allergies. Like almost everyone who suffers from a dog hair allergy, I first tried anti-allergic medication. Although they brought a short-term improvement, they could not eliminate the problem itself.

Now and then my eyes water a little if I play with our dog for too long, but I can live with that.

You know what annoyed me the most about the whole thing? The seeming indifference of doctors! I mean, just telling a dog lover to give away their dog seems pretty cold-hearted to me.

My doctor didn’t even bother to look for a solution. It almost seemed to me that my problem was just a nuisance to him. He just prescribed me a couple of pills and that was the end of it for him.

I didn’t expect so much ignorance. But I won’t give up that easily. And my persistence and my love for our dog finally paid off. Even if it was a long and sometimes painful journey
